Today (well, really yesterday) marked the commencement of the summer stage of the  Empowerhouse!  After a few days off following final exams, the team is now finalizing drawings and specifying all the materials that we’ll need to build – including the kitchen sink.  In the following months we’ll be providing bunches of posts (including pictures) of all the cool stuff we’re doing like building thick passive house walls as well as a really cool rain feature that will gather water from the roof into a water fall that feeds a rain garden below.  Speaking of cool water features, I’ll leave you with a link to one of the many products we’ve been looking into using in our project – it recycles grey water from your bathroom sink to supply the toilet!
