So as Jessica mentioned, we are still busy finalizing materials over here in Hoboken and breaking in our steel-toed boots.  While most must think material research boring, I’d like to share a short video about one of the products we’ll be using in the project, Timbersil.  A pine wood impregnated with glass, Timbersil is stronger than traditional wood, rot and insect resistant without being treated by chemicals, and according to the video, pretty fire-proof! Hopefully we’ll never experience this ourselves, but it is comforting to know we’ll be providing the future inhabitants of the house with a safe environment.
